Hard Rock N Haida is a mirror image of his sire, the world famous Haidas Little Pep, and is out of Rock Creek Holly, a producing daughter of Docs Hickory.

Haidas Little Pep has won $425,174.  He was the NCHA Reserve World Champion; NCHA Open Futurity Reserve Champion; NCHA Open Finals Co-Champion, and Equistat #9 all time leading sire (2004) with his get earning over $8,297,275.  Haidas Little Pep is also the top 15 (2001 Equistat) leading cutting maternal grandsire.

Rock Creek Holly is an AQHA World Show qualifier and performer in her own right.  She has already produced two AQHA performers and an NCHA earning son, Hickory N Oak.

Rock Creek Holly comes from a long line of proven producers, and they are responsible for such famous names as Power Player (NCHA $300,000+), Charoakter Eyes (NCHA $261,933.61), Diamond J Star (NCHA $75,911.00), Starlight N Diamonds (NCHA $123,000) and the list goes on and on.

Hyde was trained by Jason Hanson of Redwater, Alberta through May, 2008.  We appreciate all his hard work and dedication in getting Hyde finished as a cutter.   He was then brought home in early July to enjoy a life of leisure before standing at stud in 2009.

UPDATE:  Hyde passed away due to septic shock brought on but a gastric rupture on February 15, 2009.  This is a great loss to both us and his breeder.  Hyde will always be remembered for his great spirit in the face of adversity.  A more willing to work horse will never again come into my life.  He loved what he was bred to do which was to work cows.  I just wish he had been able to do what he loved or to pass it on to his offspring.
